How do I join NeoPages?

NeoPages is not aimed at people just starting off on the web. You must have a website published so that our staff can determine whether your site will fit in with the NeoPages network. To join NeoPages, register at NPForums and create a post in our Applications message board with a URL of your existing Web site, a short description of what you will use the site for, and a persuasive argument as to why you should be hosted. Acceptance is determined by internal member polling. Announcements of those who have been accepted are made every week; a maximum of three sites are accepted each week. For users whose sites have not been accepted, they may choose to wait until the next period of acceptance or they may drop out.

Conditions of hosting

• Members may not host any material that is illegal to host in the USA (the location of the service). This includes, for example, ‘warez’, distribution-restricted audio files, child pornography, etc.
• Members may not host any material otherwise deemed inappropriate. This is determined by administration, and includes, for example, adult pornography.
• Members may not utilize their accounts exclusively as file hosting.
• Members are recommended but not required to maintain some level of activity on NPForums.

What is the catch? How does NeoPages make money?

There is none. It does not make any money. NeoPages was created to support the development of talented individuals who are not willing or able to shell out the money for paid hosting; enabling the growth of those who might not get the opportunity is gratification enough. We survive only by the generosity of our members and the influx of fresh blood.
